Pixilart: The Fire Dragon

 

Hello Fellow Students. Today my class and I had a task to do, that task was to go on a drawing app called Pixilart and draw anything thing that comes to mind and turn it into a GIF, I put a lot of effort into this because there was a prize up for grabs which was chocolate. I chose to do a Dragon which had the ability to use fire, this piece of art took about an hour or more. during the process it was a struggle but I managed  to pull it off. So far this has been one of the funnest classes we've had yet in lock down. Hope everybody is doing good, make sure to stay inside. 👍

2021 Olympics - Tokyo

 

This blog is about the most recent Olympics in tokyo. The country I supported is New zealand. New zealand came 13th out of 50 countries which is really good for a small country like ours. I am really excited to see how New zealand will do in 2024 in Paris.

Technology - Science

 Today for science my group and I had tested acids and bases. Today's task was to use red and blue litmus paper. To test each colour whether its acid or bases. We dipped the litmus paper into cleaning products and we were testing to see if the blue would turn into red and if the red would turn into blue majority of the cleaning products were acid and only like 3 or 4 of them were bases after we finished testing out acid and bases we had to write down the method on how to do each step

BA - Tree Of Life

 

Today my class and I did an poster about our own family trees. This activity was really all about asking your parents, grandparents, great grand parents what culture they are and to learn about our last names history. As you can see above I am full cook island from both my parents sides, I have never met my mums dad because he had passed away before my mum had birth to me. This activity is basically just teaching us about our pass generations and express our cultures to others and to be proud. I am I made family tree poster this because I found out a lot of interesting things during the process. Other than that it was really fun !     

BA - Snake Game

Hello fellow bloggers and students. Today I am going to talking about a certain game called snake game, this game is basically about using your arrow keys to move the snake to get as much apples as you can. Its a lot of fun, but I had one goal and it was to surpass my friend who got 112, and eventually I passed 112 and got 122 which is 10 POINTS ahead of my friend, That just proves that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

Technology - TC

 Today my group and I went to science at Tamaki. The first thing we did was write down on our computers / books, "Topic 5 Flower Power". The next thing we did was write down some of the things she put up on the board about flowers and what did we first realize when we saw the flower. When we were done that, our science teacher Mrs. Sharna gave out hibiscus flowers to everyone to do an experiment with it. After that we watched a video on how to open the flower up and pull the top part of the stigma out. For some students it was a struggle, but eventually everybody got it. From that moment forward we pulled some of the anther off the hibiscus flower and we put it onto an science glass and mashed it up then put it under an microscope to see what we could find. Other than that it was really fun.

Tamaki college Tec - 2021

 Today at tamaki college on tuesday 1st of june, as soon as we got to Tamaki we went straight to science class since the science teacher was gone we had a reliever and her name was Mrs. Wong she taught us a few things, one of them was about using measuring cylinder  and we had to make 100m with the measuring cylinder which only has 50m on each so once we filled it up to 50m we put it in a cup then we had to do it again to make 100m, then we had to write down some of the equipments with pictures on the side of it then at the end we had a little game called brain gym then we ended the session and went back to school.

This is my blog on how to keep your computer from breaking or getting dirty. I was shocked at how many

things that tells us how to keep our computer safe I learnt things like don't eat over your computer or dont leave your computer unattended.

Today I learnt more interesting things about frogs while making this google form. I learnt that you can give feedback if you get the incorrect answer or the correct answer.  If you share the google form to anyone they can answer your quiz to see how much knowledge about frogs.
