Today my class and I went to te oro. Which was very random because the teachers just
came in and said ‘’get up we’re going to te oro’’. We had to walk there, but it wasn't too much.
It was about 600-700 meters. When I had just walked in there, it looked super nice and clean and there
also was a lot of maori patterns like a whakairo. Before we went into the room we had to take our shoes
off, my thoughts on that, there wasn’t much hate and nobody complained. Then the maori teachers
started telling us about different types of trees. After that we had to split into groups. There were
3 groups and my group was doing weaving with harakeke . We made a fetu, I did 3 fetus and most
people did 5. Doing a fetu was very difficult and as hard to remember which is why I only did 3. after
we had finished with done some dancing and singing maori songs then we had to walk back
